CHOCOLATE FILLED SNOWBALLS 
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 (9 oz.) bag chocolate kisses
Confectioners' sugar

Combine all ingredients except the chocolate kisses and confectioners' sugar. Chill dough for about 1 hour. Pat about 1 tablespoon of dough in palm. Place unwrapped kiss in center of flattened dough and wrap dough around to cover. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes. Roll in confectioners' sugar while warm. Makes about 30 cookies.
