BRISKET STEW | |
3 to 4 lb. brisket 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 4 cans water 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix Garlic Pepper Ketchup Cooking wine Salt to taste 2 whole potatoes Frozen green beans or mixed vegetables Seer meat 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Remove meat from pot. Place in pot 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce, water, Lipton onion soup mix. Bring to a boil, then add all seasonings. Place meat back in sauce. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Add potatoes and vegetables and cook for an additional 1/2 hour. |
