PEPPERMINT PIE 
1/2 lb. peppermint stick candy
1/2 c. light cream or half and half
1/2 env. unflavored gelatin
2 tbsp. cold water
1 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
1 pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
1/4 c. melted butter

Crush cookies and mix with melted butter to make crumb crust. Pat into pan. Reserve a few crumbs for topping. Crush peppermint candy and add light cream. Heat in a double boiler until candy melts. Add gelatin, softened in 2 tablespoons cold water. Chill until partially set. Fold in whipped cream and pour into crust. Sprinkle top with remaining cookie crumbs.
