BIG BATCH CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 lg. eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
12 oz. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 c. coconut

Sift together flour, soda and salt.

Cream butter, sugars, eggs and extract. Stir in dry ingredients, then chips, nuts and coconut.

Drop by rounded tablespoon on greased pan. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes until edges are golden. Do not overbake. Allow to set on tray a few minutes before removing to cooling racks. Makes 4-5 dozen.
