1 c. corn oil
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
3 c. apples, finely chopped
1 c. pecans (chopped)

GLAZE:

1/2 stick butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 tsp. sweet milk

Boil 1 minute, put on cake while hot.

Mix oil, eggs, sugar, vanilla, sift dry ingredients. Blend with first mixtures. Add apples and pecans. Bake in round tube pan 350 degrees for 1 hour 10 minutes. Place in cold oven. Remove from pan while hot.
