BLONDE BROWNIES 
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp. water
1 6-oz. pkg. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. white sugar
1 egg
6 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup + 2 tbsp. flour

Grease an 8x8-inch pan. Preheat oven to 375°F.

Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and water; beat until creamy. Beat in egg.

In a small bowl, whisk dry ingredients; add to butter mixture. Stir in nuts and half of the chocolate chips.

Transfer batter to pan. Sprinkle remaining chips on top.

Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
