SOFT BAKED PRETZELS 
2 pkgs. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add salt and flour; knead. Let rise 15 minutes. Roll dough in long narrow rolls on unfloured surface. Shape into pretzels. Then make soda solution of 1 quart water and 4 tablespoons baking soda. Bring to a boil in large fry pan. Drop in pretzels. Boil until they float, about 1 minute. Place on cookie sheet, greased. Sprinkle with salt and bake at 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
