“MOM'S EASY YAKISOBA” IS IN:

MOM'S EASY YAKISOBA 
For a main dish mom would stir fry chunks of chicken breast but our preferred meat was sliced smoked sausage.

2 tbsp. cooking oil
3 cups cabbage, coarsely chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 to 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup water
1 pkg. beef flavored ramen noodles

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add cabbage and onion, salt and pepper and red pepper, cooking and stirring over medium-low heat until crisp tender (about 10 to 15 minutes). Turn up heat to medium and add water. Boil for 5 minutes then add noodles. Boil for 3 minutes. Turn off heat and stir in the beef flavored packet included in the ramen package. Enjoy!
