LITE CARAWAY DUMPLINGS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1 egg
2 tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. milk

Combine egg, milk and shortening. Add to dry ingredients all at once. Mix until just moistened. Steam 25 minutes. Good in soup or stews.
