PEANUT BUTTER CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening or 3/4 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. unsifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) Reese's peanut butter chips

Cream shortening or butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Add eggs; beat well. In a separate bowl combine flour and baking soda. Gradually add flour to creamed mixture; blend well. Stir in peanut butter chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly on cookie sheet before removing to a wire rack. Makes approximately 5 dozen.
