LACE COOKIES 
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. milk or cream
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/3 c. melted butter
Chocolate for filling (semi-sweet, milk or white)

Combine first 5 ingredients. Add corn syrup and melted butter. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon onto cookie sheet lined with baking parchment. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown (approximately 9 to 10 minutes). Remove tray from oven and lift parchment paper. Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes and then peel off of parchment. Melt chocolate, place 1 teaspoon on cookie, and sandwich 2 cookies together. Refrigerate to harden.
