2 c. water
3 3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
6 to 8 tsp. (rounded) instant coffee
1/2 c. warm water
1 qt. 100 proof vodka
2 tsp. glycerine (buy at pharmacy)

Boil 2 cups water with 3 3/4 cups of sugar until clear. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla. Mix 6 to 8 teaspoons instant coffee with 1/2 cup warm water. Add this and 1 quart 100 proof vodka to above. Add 2 teaspoons glycerine. Age 30 days. Makes 1/2 gallon.
