SAUERKRAUT BALLS 
8 oz. sausage meat, crumbled
1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
1 (14 oz.) can sauerkraut, well drained & chopped fine
2 tbsp. bread crumbs
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. dried parsley
Pinch of garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. flour
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 c. additional bread crumbs

In skillet cook sausage and onion; drain. Add sauerkraut and bread crumbs (2 tablespoons). Combine cream cheese and other seasonings; then stir into sauerkraut mix; chill. Shape into small balls. Add milk to beaten eggs. Coat balls with flour then dip in egg and roll into crumbs. Brown ball in oil. Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. They freeze well.
