TACO CASSSEROLE
1 lb. ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 env. taco seasoning mix
2 1/2 c. crushed nacho or corn chips (great for using up the bottom of bag)
1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef; drain. Add 1 1/2 cups of the tomato sauce (reserve remainder) and the packet of taco seasoning to the ground beef; mix well.

Line the bottom of a 12"x8"x2" baking dish with 2 cups of the chips. Spoon meat mixture over the chips in the baking dish. Combine remaining tomato sauce and beans. Spread evenly over cooked meat mixture.

Bake in 375 degree oven about 25 minutes. Remove, sprinkle remaining crushed chips and the shredded cheese over the casserole. Return to oven to melt cheese, about 2 to 3 minutes more. About 6 servings.
