BROWN SUGAR FUDGE WITH NUTS 
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp. cornstarch
2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
vanilla
nuts or coconut (optional)

Mix milk and cornstarch. Add sugars; boil until it forms a soft ball (234-240°F on candy thermometer).

Add vanilla and nuts. Cool. Beat vigorously; pour into buttered pan.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.
