DANISH PUFF PASTRY 
FIRST PART:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. cold water

Mix like pie crust. Pat into 2-4 inch strips on a cookie sheet.

SECOND PART:

1 c. flour
1 tsp. almond flavor
3 eggs
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter

Bring water and butter to a boil. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup flour and almond extract. Stir until it pulls away from side of pan. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Spread on top of first strips. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 50 minutes.

Make powdered sugar icing flavored with almond extract. Spread on while slightly warm and sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Cut diagonally.
