DANISH PUFF PASTRY 
Crust:

1 c. flour
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. water

Mix flour, butter and water and make like pie dough. Divide into 2 sections. Pat into 2 3 inch x 12 inch strips on cookie sheet.

Frosting:

1 tbsp. butter
powdered sugar

Make a small amount of buttercream frosting and frost when warm. Serve immediately, doesn't really keep well.

Topping:

1 c. flour
1 c. water
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 stick butter

Bring water and butter to boil. Add vanilla and remove from heat. Stir in flour immediately. Add one egg at a time and beat. Spoon on top of crust.

Bake one hour at 350°F.

Note: You can make a small amount of buttercream frosting and frost while warm.

Serve immediately - does not really keep well.
