HUMMINGBIRD CAKE 
3 c. all-purpose flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. salad oil
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 c. chopped nuts
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped bananas

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add eggs and salad oil. Stir until dry ingredients are moist. Do not beat. Add remaining ingredients. Bake in three pans 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
