APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. quick rolled oats
3/4 c. butter
12 oz. apricot jam

Mix together flour and baking powder. Add brown sugar and oats. Mix well. Cut in butter. Press 2/3 of mixture in 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Drizzle jam over mixture (use a fork to mix and make the jam more syrupy.) Sprinkle with remaining mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool slightly and cut.
