1 c. butter (butter will not do)
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream the butter. Beat brown sugar into butter. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix the two together and roll out to about the thickness of your finger. Cut into squares and prick well with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown, about 20 minutes.
