BUTTER PECAN COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. ground pecans (1 c. for cookies - 1/2 c. to roll in)

Shape each cookie into a 1 1/2-inch long roll, each about the thickness of your little finger. Roll in ground pecans. Bake 25 minutes at 325°F.
