PLAZA III STEAK SOUP 
1 stick butter
1/2 gal. water
1 lb. round steak, cut into cubes
1 c. cubed carrots
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 tsp. monosodium glutamate (MSG)
2 tsp. beef stock base
1 tsp. Cavenar's Greek seasoning
1 c. flour
1 lb. ground chuck
1 c. cubed onion
1 c. cubed celery
1 can tomatoes, diced
3 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
2 tsp. chicken stock base
Pepper to taste

Do not salt until soup is done and tasted.

Melt butter in large kettle. Stir in flour to make a smooth paste. Gradually add water, stirring constantly, and cook until liquid boils.

Brown ground chuck and round steak, drain grease. Add meats to soup kettle.

In saucepan, add onions, carrots, celery and water to cover. Bring to a boil and simmer several minutes. Drain and add vegetables to soup. Add frozen vegetables, tomatoes, seasonings, chicken and beef stock base. Mix well. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Serves 6 to 8.
