4 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. packed brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. all purpose flour
5 c. blended oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
24 oz. semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 (8 oz.) Hershey's candy bar, grated
3 c. chopped pecans or macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and both sugars; add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, blended oatmeal (made by processing oatmeal to a fine powder 2 cups at a time in a blender), salt, baking powder and soda. Add chocolate, grated candy bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place 2" apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 6 minutes. Makes 112 cookies. Recipe may be halved.
