CANDY APPLE SALAD 
4 c. chopped Granny Smith apples
1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. can crushed pineapple
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 c. salted dry roasted peanuts, chopped

Mix flour, sugar, pineapple and juice, egg, apple cider and vinegar together in saucepan. Stir over medium heat until thickened. Refrigerate until cool. Make sure this mixture is cold. Then fold into Cool Whip. Then fold in apples and 1/2 cup peanuts. Sprinkle remaining peanuts on top. Tastes just like eating a caramel apple!
