PARMESAN POTATOES 
1/4 c. butter
1 onion, sliced
1 sm. green pepper, seeded and sliced thin
1 clove garlic, crushed
4-5 med. potatoes, sliced thin (skins may be left on)
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Melt butter; saute onion, green pepper and garlic for about 3 minutes. Place sliced potatoes in casserole dish. Pour onion, etc. over potatoes.

Microwave until fork tender -- about 20 minutes on HIGH. Can also be used in conventional oven. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes and then 15 minutes uncovered.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
