BAKED CARAMEL APPLES 
4 lg. apples
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. sm. marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel, core and quarter apples. Place in 2-quart baking dish. Melt butter in medium saucepan; blend in flour. Add sugar and water, stirring over low heat until dissolved.

Add marshmallows and continue stirring until melted. Bring sauce to boil; pour over apples. Bake for 25-30 minutes, basting with sauce occasionally. Yield: 4-6 servings.
