1 c. salad oil
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. ketchup
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. grated onion
2 tsp. soy sauce
Greens of choice or spinach

Wash and chill greens. Prepare dressing; set aside. Add favorite salad fixings (like croutons, chopped scallion, red pepper, bacon pieces, mushrooms, hard cooked egg, sliced water chestnuts). Toss salad with dressing. Serve immediately. Serves 4 to 6.
