JAM CAKE 
1 c. pecans
1 c. raisins
1 c. fig preserves
1 c. pear preserves
1/2 c. apple jelly
1/4 c. flour

Measure and mix together by hand and set aside.

4 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar

Cream and add:

2 eggs
3/4 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla

Measure and mix together by hand.

Sift:

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour

Add:

1 tsp. cinnamon

As you add the flour put in your jams and stir until creamy. Pour in a tube pan (grease and flour pan) and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

(If desired, you can add 1 or 2 tablespoons of any other kind of jellies that you have.)
