KAHLUA 
3 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. water
1 c. freeze dried coffee
1 vanilla beans
2 c. 100 proof vodka

Combine sugar, water, and coffee. Bring to a boil and remove form heat. Cut vanilla bean into quarters; add to coffee mixture and cool. Pour into a half gallon jug and add vodka. Mix occasionally. Ready to drink in 30 days.
