CRANBERRY SLUSH 
1 lb. fresh cranberries
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. grapefruit soda

Wash cranberries and put in a pan with the water. Bring to a boil. Cook until soft, then rub through a sieve or food mill. While the berries are still hot, add the sugar and lemon juice and stir until well blended. Pour into ice cube tray or a cake pan and freeze until mushy. Serve with turkey, instead of a salad. The tartness makes a good contrast.
