HEATH BAR SURPRISE 
1 box chocolate cake mix
2 (4 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
12 oz. container Cool Whip
3 Heath candy bars, cracked into small bits (it helps to refrigerate them first)

Bake cake mix according to directions in 9 x 13 inch pan. Make pudding according to package. Cut cooled cake into small squares. Layer bottom of a trifle bowl with cake. Cover cake with chocolate pudding, then Cool Whip, and then Heath Bar bits. Continue layering in this fashion until bowl is filled, ending with Cool Whip, then Heath bar bits. Refrigerate until serving time (at least 1 hour is best). Can be made the night before.
