MEXICAN DINNER 
1 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. onion
16 oz. can tomatoes
16 oz. can pinto beans
1/2 c. instant rice
3 tbsp. bell pepper
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
3/4 c. cheese
1/2 c. water

Cook beef and onion until tender. Drain fat. Put in tomatoes, water, garlic, beans, rice, pepper. Bring to a boil reduce heat. Simmer covered 20 minutes. Top with cheese. Serve over tortilla chips. Feeds 6 people.
