OLD FASHIONED MOLASSES COOKIES | |
2 c. rolled oats 1 c. wheat germ 3/4 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 c. non-fat dry milk solids 2 eggs, lightly beaten 3/4 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. dark molasses 1/2 c. honey 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 c. raisins; optional Heat oven to 350 degrees; makes 7 dozen or so. Combine oats, wheat germ, flour and dry milk in a large bowl. Mix eggs, oil, molasses, honey, and vanilla in medium bowl. Stir into flour mixture. Stir in nuts and raisins. Refrigerate covered, 30 minutes. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 1 inch apart on greased baking sheets. Bake until edges re golden 12-15 minutes. Cool on baking sheets on wire racks 5 minutes. Transfer cookies to wire racks. Cool. |
