BEEF GOULASH 
1/4 c. shortening
2 lb. chuck steak cubed
1 c. sliced onion
1 clove garlic
3/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of pepper
1 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water
3 to 4 c. cooked hot noodles

Melt shortening. Add meat, onion and garlic. Cook until meat browns and onion is tender. Add catsup, Worcestershire, brown sugar, salt, paprika, mustard, pepper and 1 1/2 cup water.

Cover, simmer 2 to 3 hours stir occasionally. Blend 2 tablespoons flour with 1/4 cup water. Add to meat mixture to thicken, boil 1 minute. Serve over hot noodles.
