BEEF GOULASH | |
2 lbs. beef chuck, cut into pieces 2 lg. onions, chopped 1 clove garlic 1 chopped green pepper 1 lg. tomato 5 potatoes, cut into cubes 2 tbsp. oil 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. marjoram 1 tbsp. salt 3 c. boiling water 2 tbsp. flour Saute onions until golden in pressure cooker, remove and add beef cubes which have been shaken in flour. Brown in onions and all seasonings until meat releases its liquids (3-4 minutes). Then add boiling water and potato cubes and cook in pressure cooker 1 1/2 hours. Serve with rye bread or small shape pasta. |
