1 pkg. spice cake mix
1 c. quick-cooking oats (not instant or old fashioned)
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheets. Combine cake mix, oats, eggs and oil in large bowl. Beat at low speed with electric mixer until blended. Stir in raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet. Remove to cooling rack.

NOTE: I have found this recipe works just as well mixing by hand. Other cake mix flavors can be used in place of spice cake mix.
