RICE PUDDING 
1 qt. reg. milk
1/3 c. rice
1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Use a double boiler. Put water in bottom pan Use top pan for rice pudding. Put milk in top pan of double boiler; while water in bottom pan comes to a boil; (combined pans). When milk comes to a boil, add the rice and stir; mix egg and sugar together. Add milk and rice; lower heat; stir often, cook on low heat for 1 hour. Add vanilla last 15 minutes of cooking time. You can add raisins if you wish. Pour into bowl and cool; mixture will thicken as it cools. Stir and keep in refrigerator.
