BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1 stick butter
2 c. dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. broken nuts

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Melt butter, add sugar, and stir until blended. Cool slightly, beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Mix in nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
