BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
2 c. unsifted flour
2 meas. tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 meas. tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle butterscotch flavored morsels
1/2 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
4 eggs
1 meas. tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Melt over hot, not boiling, water butterscotch morsels and butter; remove from heat and transfer to large bowl. Stir in brown sugar. Cool at room temperature 5 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly into greased 15"x10"x1" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into 2" squares. Makes 35 (2") squares.

This is an old family favorite. It doesn't matter where I take these, they're always the first thing gone and everyone comes begging for the recipe. Once, when I lost the recipe, I tried the one that is currently on the butterscotch morsels bag and it wasn't half as good. Thank heavens I found it again a couple weeks later!
