HAM AND CHEESE BAKE 
16 slices white sandwich bread
3 c. diced ham
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1/2 lb. or more shredded cheddar cheese

Cut off crusts of bread and cube. Combine eggs, milk, salt and beat. Grease 9 x 12 inch pan and layer bread, cheese, and ham. Repeat. Pour egg mixture over the layers. Top with melted butter and cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and store in refrigerator overnight. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes (covered). Uncover and bake another 15 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
