BRAN MUFFINS 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. Kellogg's All Bran cereal or Kellogg's Bran Buds cereal
1 egg
1/3 c. shortening or vegetable oil

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; set aside. Stir together cereal and milk. Let stand about 2 minutes. Add egg and shortening; beat well. Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined.

Fill 12 greased 2 1/2 inch muffin pan cups. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Yield: 12 muffins.
