STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 
2 c. crushed salted pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter
3 tbsp. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
2 c. Cool Whip (8 oz. container)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. hot water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, halved or whole

Mix together pretzels, butter and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press into 9x13 pan and bake 8 minutes at 400°F; cool. Mix cream cheese and 1 cup sugar together. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.

Mix together jello and 2 cups boiling water. When blended, add strawberries, then pour mixture over cream cheese. Refrigerate until firm. Cut in squares and put on lettuce-lined plates for salad or use as a dessert.

Serves 12.
