PORK AND BEAN PITAS | |
1 (16 oz.) can VanCamp's pork & beans 4 or 5 frankfurters, sliced 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. mustard 2 pita pocket loaves, halved or 4 frankfurter buns 1 med. tomato, chopped Shredded cheese Combine beans, frankfurters, brown sugar, and mustard; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spoon half cup of mixture into each pita pocket half or frankfurter bun. Top with chopped tomato and shredded cheese. Makes 4 servings. |
