PULL APART HONEY-WHOLE WHEAT ROLLS | |
1 1/2 c. warm water 1/2 c. salad oil 1/4 c. honey 3 pkgs. dry yeast 1 tsp. salt 2 eggs 6 c. whole wheat flour or 3 c. wheat and 3 c. white flour (approximately) In large bowl, stir together water, oil, honey, yeast. Let stand 15 minutes. Stir in salt and eggs. Beat in flour to form stiff dough that is not sticky. Knead into smooth ball. Tear off pieces about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and roll into smooth balls. Place balls slightly apart on well greased rimmed 10 x 15 inch pan. Let stand until puffy 15 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Cool on wire rack in pans for 5 minutes. 3 dozen rolls. |
