OATMEAL RAISIN BREAD 
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
1 c. raisins
2 c. boiling water
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
5 to 6 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
Melted butter

Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Combine first 6 ingredients, mix well add 2 cups boiling water. Stir to melted butter, cool mixture. Dissolve yeast and let stand 5 minutes. Add to oat mixture mixing well.

Make soft dough on flour surface. Knead 8 to 10 minutes. Let rise 1 hour. Punch down and knead 2 minutes. Divide dough and let rest for 10 minutes. Roll out rectangle 9 x 18. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on rectangle and roll up brushing with butter.
