BUTTERNUT CAKE 
1 c. oil
1 c. milk
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. butternut flavoring

Mix oil and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add flour and milk alternately. Add flavoring. Batter will be thin. Bake in two layers at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1 box confectionery sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 tsp. butternut flavoring
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream together softened cream cheese and butter. Work in sugar; add flavoring and nuts.
