LASAGNA
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 lb. ground round (beef)
2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans spaghetti sauce with meat
9 packaged lasagna macaroni (about 1/2 lb. pack)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 pt. cream style cottage cheese
2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Heat oil in a skillet over moderately high heat; add ground beef and cook until lightly browned, stirring occasionally with a fork to break up pieces. Drain off excess fat. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer, covered, 20 minutes. Cook lasagna macaroni according to package directions. Drain. Combine Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese and parsley. Butter a shallow 2 quart baking dish (12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches). Layer the pan with Mozzarella macaroni. Spread about 1/3 of the cheese mixture over macaroni. Repeat layers twice. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting into squares. Serves 8 to 10.
