MEXICAN CASSEROLE 
1 med. onion
1 can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. butter
1 can Mexican corn
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 (16 oz.) can tamales
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Saute onion in butter until done. Add tomato sauce, drained corn, and chili powder. Simmer for 5 minutes. Pour into 2-quart casserole dish. Stir in 1 cup of the Cheddar cheese. Remove tamales from can, remove the husks and place tamales in casserole. Push them down into mixture. Add remaining cheese on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
