CREAM CHEESE COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter

Cream together 1 cup sugar and 1 cup butter. Add eggs, 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Pat 2/3 of the mixture into bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan.

Beat together the cream cheese, egg, 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread cream cheese mixture over first layer. Spoon remaining batter on cream cheese layer.

Mix until crumbly and top with 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 cup butter. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cinnamon (optional.)

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
