DOROTHY'S REAL APPLE PANCAKE 
2 green apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
1/2 c. flour
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar, mixed with 2 tbsp. cinnamon
Lemon (opt.)

In 10" or 12" oven proof skillet, saute the apples in four tablespoons butter until soft. Mix eggs, milk and flour together. Pour egg mixture over apples and bake at 500 degrees until it puffs up and browns around edges, about 10 minutes. Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour over baked pancake. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture and return to oven for 5 minutes or until sugar melts. If desired, squeeze lemon over and serve.
